Truck Drivers

Synagro manages the biosolids generated by publicly and privately owned treatment works, industrial generators such as pulp/paper, food processing and textile mills.  Among the many services we provide our customers are land application, dredging, dewatering, transportation, lime stabilization, incineration, drying, composting and product marketing.

 

We are currently seeking Truck Drivers (2 open positions) for our Southwest Region located in Tolleson, AZ. 

 

The Truck Driver responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·  Operate truck in a safe manner at all times

·  Comply with all DOT regulations, including timely and accurate submission of Driver Daily Logs, and thorough compliance with all applicable Federal and Local laws pertaining to motor carriers.

·  Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material generated by the WWTP to the designated site for unloading.

·  Responsible for shoveling and/or washing any spillage from loading of the trailer, as well as securing tailgate latches to ensure a watertight seal.

·  Perform daily inspection and required preventative maintenance on assigned tractor and trailer.

·  Maintain vehicle by keeping it clean at all times

·  Ensure that all paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on time.

·  Comply with legal gross vehicle weight restrictions.

·  Operate front end loader (if applicable)

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

·  Good driving record with atleast 1 yr. driving experience.

·  Commercial Driver’s License Class A required

·  Ability to work overtime hours and/or periodic weekend duties, required, as needed.
