About the Opportunity
Consolidated Disposal Service is seeking a Senior Collector to join our exciting and high energy work environment at our Santa Fe Sprints Location.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

· Handle delinquent accounts on a daily basis, in order to request payments and bring the accounts to current status.

· Assist other collectors in unusual or difficult situations and meet with customers as necessary to resolve accounts.

· Responsible for orientation and training of new collection staff in department and Company procedures.

· Review Collector’s call logs and prepare weekly/monthly summary reports on call activity for management.

· Review input and process “checks by phone” and forward checks to cash receipts daily.

· Confer with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer, and request payment of amounts due.

· Reconcile accounts and resolve relevant disputes to expedite receipt of funds.

· Process payments by credit card and checks.

· Prepare debit/credit adjustments and attempt to secure payment.

· Record information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.

· Review return mail and traces customer to new address by inquiring at post office, by phone, data quick property, etc.

· Represent Company in court, prepare weekly and monthly summary reports, and other duties may be assigned

Requirements

· 3- Years experience as a collector.

· Proficient in Excel/ Computer literate.

· Ability to negotiate.

· Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills.
