Resource Manager
Infiniti Energy & Environmental, Inc. is looking for a Environmental In Plant Service Manager to support an industrial facility in the Metro Detroit area.
Requirements:
Provide total waste management services to client-single point of contact which includes training and supporting personnel with waste minimization, waste classification and waste tracking adhering to DOT and RCRA regulations Ensure environmental compliance Investigate all waste streams for the potential of reduction, reuse, or recycling Manage core and non-core business, generating written projects/proposals, or other correspondence as needed to ensure quality communications between the client and Infiniti Management Work closely with the local division and with the landfills Manage all third party waste, environmental vendors, and sub-contractors on the industrial customer site. This includes preparation, scheduling, and tracking of all shipments of recyclables, trash, hazardous and non-hazardous wastes Provide a single invoice and financial reports to the client, along with being the single point of contact on all matters. This includes tracking all Infiniti’s internal costs for the project and providing regular profit and loss updates to the Regional Manager Supervise various sub-contractor projects on a daily/weekly basis as needed Communicate with local, state, and governmental officials as needed Responsible for ensuring that all of their assigned activities are conducted according to legal and other requirements, the environmental policy and operational controls Responsible for maintaining communications relevant to the EMS, to and from management This individual will be working independently without immediate supervision on a client site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is preferred Three to five years of supervisory experience in an Environmental, Waste, or preferably an Automotive Manufacturing environment Minimum of three year’s in RCRA, DOT and OSHA requirements for the management of hazardous and industrial wastes The possession of, or ability to obtain, CHMM certification within one year of placement in this position 40 hour HAZWOPER Certification is preferred Candidate will need to pass a customer examination on Environmental regulations as a condition of employment Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and documents, financial reports, and legal documents Must be able to respond to common inquiries, complaints, etc, from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community Must have a solid understanding of a Microsoft Office environment All candidates MUST possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense
