Account Manager

As America's largest independent waste management company, OAKLEAF is uniquely positioned to serve our clients needs wherever they do business.  We specialize in the management of waste disposal contracts, providing service management functions for large, multi-state customers in the retail, restaurant, hotel, manufacturing and property management industries.

 

This position will be on-site at to one of our clients in Hoffman Estates, IL.

 





Summary:  Directs client contact and account ownership by performing the following duties. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 Delivers client needs by contract such as: management reports, website uploading, right-sizing and equipment analysis, seasonal changes, budget projections, waste-avoidance/recycling programs, client invoice auditing, short paid client invoices and collection of issue resolution.*Face to face visits with corporate contacts providing reporting and other information.Develops and implements strategies for client retention in an effort to maximize client relationships, improve original margins and expand sales.*Interacts with other departments to accomplish action items.*Prepares a plan for each account to identify how short and long term needs may be met.*Interfaces with the customer to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements.*Ensures client prices do not exceed contract guarantees.*Uses budget reports and gathers necessary information by using web tools.*Serves as a point of escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters during product utilization.*Records reports, proposals, approvals, contracts and account history.*Trains the team and new management on cross-functional selling.*Expedites the resolution of customer problems/complaints.*Provides feedback to management for future product enhancements.Contributes to the quarterly and annual business forecasting by providing account trends and sharing future client needs.Assists with other projects as needed by management.

 

Qualifications:

Upon hiring you must have the ability to work in the Connecticut office for approximately the first 30 days.  Also, you must be flexible to travel occasionally to the Connecticut office as needed.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required.  Industry or related experience and/or training required.
