Position Title: Guest Services Lead

Shift: All shifts – 24/7 Number of Positions Available: 2

Position Description:
Guest Services Lead team members will play a vital role in the Wag Hotel operation. You will interface with clients, their pets and all other staff members. You must have exceptional customer service skills. You will be in charge of making sure that your shift runs smoothly, team members work together appropriately, and that all animal needs are met. This will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your strengths and make significant contributions to the growth of the business.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Gather all team members for a brief daily meeting to provide information and identify responsibilities for that shift.
• Assisting with animal check-in and check-out
• Walking and conducting supervised dog play sessions
• Escorting animals throughout all areas of facility: guest quarters, play areas, pool, bathing and grooming, etc.
• Animal feeding
• Kennel cleaning and spot-clean-ups
• Follow-up with Team Members at various times during the shift to remove road blocks to job completion.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory or management experience is a must
• Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue or veterinary facility
• Love of animals and comfort and skill in handling them
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Open availability is a must! Candidate will be expected to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
