The Firehouse Veterinary Clinic is a State-of-the-Heart veterinary clinic with an awesome staff and highly respected and loved doctor with a focus on the special relationship created by the Human-Companion Animal Bond.  We are located in South Plymouth Massachusetts near Cape Cod and the Canal.

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Veterinary Technician in our very busy Veterinary Clinic.  We are an American Animal Hospital Association accredited facility (www.healthypet.com).  Our goal is to set Exemplary Standards of Customer Service, Care, Conduct, Communication, and Appearance, which create a Bond-Centered and Client-Centered culture through extensive staff training and empowerment. 

 

As an experienced Veterinary Technician, you are key to the Client-Based workflow pattern.

 

- You will utilize your in-depth medical knowledge and your highly developed organizational skills to manage and direct the client/patient flow in the hospital.

- Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will serve as a focal point for communicating with and educating our pet owners regarding the optimal care of their pets.

- You will oversee and maintain medical records incorporating your attention to detail.

- Using your in-depth knowledge of veterinary medicine, you will assist our Veterinarian in diagnosing and treating pets: monitoring anesthesia, performing laboratory work, and monitoring ill pets(Firehouse has radiosurgery, ultrasound, radiography, and pulse oximetry).

- Above all, you will appreciate the love that owners have for their pets.

 

Positions also available in Veterinary Assistant, & Reception (train "on the job" for a new career opportunity).
