Responsibilities:
The TSV Manager will participate in continuous technical training activities for all field personnel. Training will primarily be local, within the territory of responsibility, but national responsibilities (training lectures at national and regional meetings) will also occur. Creation of technical bulletins in response to marketing needs will be required, thus clear and concise writing skills are also necessary. The TSV Manager must also be proficient in creating and updating PowerPoint presentations, or have such aptitude. The TSV Manager will work with assigned Colleges of Veterinary Medicine providing technical support and monitoring the University Product Program. They will regularly contact key faculty members to inform, update, and consult with them about Merial products, and gather new information related to possible new product development, new scientific findings related to our product lines, and keep up-to-date on the latest issues. University contact also includes working with student association groups to educate them about Merial and our large animal product line. The TSV Manager may also have the opportunity to monitor clinical field trials which have been properly reviewed and approved. Once initiated, it will be the monitor’s responsibility to assess and maintain the investigator’s adherence to the protocol and with the collection of final data, assist in preparation of the final report.
