Tail End Pet Resort & Spa is a beautiful pet boarding, day care and grooming facility. We can house up to 100 dogs and 15 cats. Our goal is to continuously raise the standards of the pet boarding industry for: pet comfort, health, safety and fun. We treat our pet guests as if they were our own.

Qualifications: This position is best suited for a true hard-working, animal loving, flexible person. The ideal candidate must have physical endurance and the ability to handle a lot of walking. This individual must posess the following qualities: the ability to handle high volume and the stress of being responsible for the care of other people's pets, be affectionate with pets, have a fast work pace, good time management, be reliable and have excellent communication skills.

 

Kennel hours: You must be available between the following hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, or 11:00 or 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Full time is 5 days a week and part-time is at least 4 days a week.

Specific Duties: Maintain the cleanliness of all pet boarding suites, common play areas and employee work areas. Provide all special need services for pets. Move dogs in and out of their suites for their outings and additional play times ordered by their owners. Feeding, medication, bathing assistant and incoming pet inspections are also duties that we provide training for.

 

Front Desk Coordinator or Assistant

 

Qualifications: This position is best suited for an outgoing person with a warm, fun personality.  The ideal candidate must be extremely detail oriented, and posess customer service skills, phone skills and organizational clerical skills.

 

Specific Duties: Greet customers and provide information. Check customers in and out. Answer phones and take reservations for boarding, daycare and grooming services. Pull, confirm and set up incoming files. Invoices Clean lobby area and walk dogs to and from the lobby area.

 

Front desk hours: You must be available between the following hours: 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. Open to close shifts may sometimes be required. Full time is 5 days a week and part-time is at least 4 days a week.

 

Animal care position starts between $8.50 or $10.00 depending on experience. Front desk starts between $9.00 or $10.00 depending on experience. Plenty of opportunity for advancement. Raises are based on performance.
