As a Banfield Veterinarian, you will provide Pets with preventive care, diagnoses and treatment for diseases and injuries.  State-of-the-art equipment, such as advanced anesthesia equipment using Sevoflurane, serum chemistry analyzer, electrocardiogram, pulse oximeter and a custom built surgery table are standard in every one of our hospitals. 

Our veterinarians help to develop efficient, productive veterinary medical teams that provide the highest quality care and service to Pets and clients.  You will be an advocate for Pets, educate clients on all aspects of Pet health, and ensure a safe and effective hospital environment for Pets, clients and team members.

To maximize the success of your hospital you will also educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and coach your paraprofessional team to provide this education to our clients.  In this role you will deliver Banfield medical standards and ethical practices and ensure hospital team members have been educated and practice within these guidelines. 

Requirements for the position include:

·  Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD) or equivalent required

·  License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board

·  License or application for license with the Drug Enforcement Agency

·  Must be comfortable around Pets

·  Friendly, outgoing and honest
