Warehouse Lead - Career Opportunity

Safelite Glass Corporation, the market leader in aftermarket auto glass replacement, repair, and distribution, with more than 5,500 associates nationwide is seeking a Warehouse Lead Associate with great leadership and customer service skills for our Birmingham, Alabama Location.

 

A Warehouse Lead Associate completes shipments by pulling, processing, loading and delivering orders placed by our customers. Daily duties include:

 Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders. Pulling materials, placing orders in delivery area and on delivery vehicle.Works with Warehouse Manager to asist with schedueling and supervision of warehouse associates.Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from wholesale and retail customers.Maintains truck and van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.Maintains quality service by following orgainzation standards.Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and complying with all OSHA and company safety standards.Completes reports by entering required information in to computer.Maintains technical knowledge by completing educational workshops, reviewing publications.

 

Skills/Qualifications:  Computer skills, teamwork, coordination of activities, orgainzation, planning, time management, reporting, inventory control, documentation, equipment maintenamce, data entry, and dependability.

 

ALL CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE TO BE CONSIDERED.
