Vacuum Route Sales & Service Representative

Safety-Kleen Systems has an immediate opening for a VACUUM ROUTE SALES & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE in Birmingham, AL. This individual is responsible for providing the best possible service for our customers. Our Vacuum Route Sales and Service Representatives are responsible for safely and efficiently removing, transporting and delivering waste material from customer facilities to Safety-Kleen disposal sites. You would also provide regular service calls and sell Safety-Kleen products and equipment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for driving a Safety-Kleen truck to different customer sites

• Provide top-quality service to meet customer’s needs

• Handle routine customer problems and serve as interface between customer and Safety-Kleen

• Work closely with Safety-Kleen team to improve route efficiency and customer relations

• Ensure environmental compliance and operate vehicles in accordance with DOT, local, state and federal requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years of route based sales/service experience preferred

• General knowledge of environmental, health and safety compliance

• Current Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Solid math skills

• Strong interpersonal; written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills
