Safety Manager

Gulfstream Express, Inc. is a successful and growing multi location southeast truckload carrier based in Columbia, SC.  We have an immediate need for a Safety Manager at our Montgomery, AL terminal.. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in safety management along with a valid Class A CDL license with over the road driving and training experience. Candidate must be a self starter with a proven safety track record and posess leadership skills.  Responsibilities include: 

 

 vSafety Management and travel to terminals at Panama City, FL

 and Gulfport, MS.



v  Monitor and ensure compliance with all FMCSA safety rules and regulations including proper logging, log auditing, driver hiring, driver training, driver files, and drug and alcohol compliance.

v  Perform road tests, orientations, and ongoing driver safety training.

v  Maintain consistent and thorough communications; written and verbal.

v  Ensure safety procedures and programs are successfully executed to improve the overall safety performance of the company.
