Falcon Transport is a family owned & operated carrier specializing in van & flatbed operations throughout the Midwest, South and Northeast.  The company has a proven history going back over thirty years, while achieving significant growth recently.  Our primary customer focus is in the automotive, general commodities and steel industries.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced driver recruiter to help us meet our growing customer needs in the TN, AL, AR and LA areas.

 

Primary responsibility will include recruiting student drivers from CDL A driving schools and recruiting experienced drivers for specific lanes.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

§ Travel to accredited CDL driving schools and meet with prospective driver candidates.

§ Interview prospective drivers to determine their eligibility for hire based on company hiring guidelines.

§ Placement of advertisements designed to locate and hire drivers to meet operational goals while adhering to budgetary requirements.

§ Maintain a working knowledge of the transportation industry and communicate trend changes, practices and competitive programs to management.

§ Process appropriate paperwork in a timely manner complying with company procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will be a goal oriented professional with excellent communication skills.  Specific requirements include:

§ Direct recruiting experience in a high-volume staffing industry

§ Experience recruiting both over-the-road and dedicated drivers in the truckload industry preferred

§ Willingness to travel regionally required

§ Ability to represent Falcon Transport in a professional manner, presenting and selling the benefits of working for an industry leader

§ Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred, but not required
