Patternmaker/Racewear Tech Designer

Fox Riders Co. is hiring a Patternmaker / Racewear Tech Designer for the SHIFT division.

 

This position will be responsible for building and maintaining a block pattern library, inclusive of samples and specifications.  You will create patterns and follow the sample assembly process - in our internal sewing room, prior to sending all these components to international suppliers who maintain the company's established fit/quality standards for both motocross and streetbike apparel. 

 

You should be familiar with CAD Gerber technology, plus knowledge of pattern grading.  As a technical designer, you will create and maintain specification measurements, graded measurements, and construction specifications in Microsoft Excel. You will participate in fittings and provide technical comments on garments to support the product development department. You will work closely with the internal design and product development teams.  Successful candidates must have Industrial sewing ability and knowledge of construction and computer patternmaking; Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a plus.  This full-time position is located in Morgan Hill, California.
