Customer Service Engineer

  Our client is a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of high performance fiber-based materials.  Due to growth of their business they are opening a new facility in the Florence, South Carolina area.  They have a requirement for a technical customer service engineer.

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

 

· Provide technical support to Sales, Customer Service and Customers on our client's reinforcement products.

· Assist local managers and sales in prioritization of the product development portfolio.

· Identify new product opportunities using existing client's technologies alone or in combination.

· Lead specific product development projects.

· Support communication in the technical network to promote teamwork and a one company approach.

 

Education, Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

· Understanding and experience of composites manufacturing.

· Computer literate – Microsoft Windows/Word/Excel and Company software.

· Excellent professional, written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and statistical skills.

· Experience in a team-based environment.

· High level of initiative and independence in managing responsibilities.
