Responsibilities:

 Determining optimum order quantities for initial orders.Determining optimum order quantities for reorders.Scheduling product delivery.Policing the out-of-stock report.Re negotiating of price, terms, and allowances.Approving and helping accounting to resolve billing discrepancies.Declaring, coordination, coding, and returning of over stock.Proofing catalog copy.Recognizing and solving merchandising problems with in the printed catalog. Resolving receiving problems in the warehouse.Developing new and innovative techniques to reach position’s objectives.Assisting and informing merchandising staff of pertinent inventory related issues.Providing customer service with updated shipping dates on orders approaching the FTC deadline.Approving and maintaining vendor discounts.Placing special orders on canceled product for customer service.
