Supply Chain Analyst I

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Analyze data for Supply Chain utilizing MS office, and other company tools such as Manugistics Planning Software.

Monitor and communicate with plants on issues concerning TAM awards (both compliance and Write Down) and interface with the Global Supply Chain group as well as engaging suppliers in open dialog to resolve issues.

Interface with the Global Supply Chain Management and the plants on Supplier Scorecards.

Gather data for execution of spot buys to take advantage of current market trends.

Participate in best-practice comparisons with team members, plants within U.S. and Canada and other Regions to continuously improve upon business results.

Travel to various facilities as needed in support of supply chain

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Four year degree or extensive experience in IT systems
Adept with MS Office (emphasis on access and excel)

Experience with Manugistics planning software or similar software tools desired

Experience in purchasing and/or supply chain desired.

Excellent organizational and negotiation skills

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitment, able to work in teams and as an individual contributor.
