Description: Eaton Corporation located in Los Angeles, CA has an opening for a Planner.

Reporting to the Repair & Overhaul Manager, this position performs a combination of planning, scheduling and follow-up duties, determines assembly priorities based on received date and implements schedule commitments for the Repair and Overhaul department within the framework of established schedules,


ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review of Parts Kit Lists (PKL's) for stock availability after evaluation and advise Senior Buyer/Planner of zero shortage conditions.
2. Enter material requirements into computer system on a daily basis.
3. Assist stockroom clerk on pulling of PKL's when kiting increases and assistance is required.
4. Maintain accurate records and regular follow-up of all materials designated as rework.
5. Prepare and maintain various management reports and metrics in Excel.
6. Plan work order parts requirements on a daily basis.
7. Assist technicians on independent parts issues as required.
8. Monitor new parts received and prioritize through system as required.
9. Reschedule system as required to maintain continuity of workflow. Monitor assignments for consolidations and special instructions.
10. Expedite material as required to meet expected turn around times and customers requirements.
11. Maintain perpetual status on all R&O units at all times.
