Production & Logistics Planner

 

Summary:

 

As Fiji Water imports 100% of our product from Fiji, Logistics is a core fundamental of our company.  Our company’s success is decided daily in how we plan and execute in Supply Chain and Logistics.

 

The Fiji Water Supply Chain & Logistics group is seeking a junior level master planner to develop worldwide production, inventory, and shipment plans.  This position reports into the Manager for Supply Chain Planning and Programs.

 

The individual must be able to

·  Systematically balance plan requirements against capacity constraints such as shipping capacity, shipping schedules, warehouse receiving constraints, and production capacities. 

·  Continually update the plan and communicate effectively with the teams in the US and Fiji to execute.

·  Operate complex planning models and create ad-hoc analysis frameworks to optimize operations

·  Track metrics to include internal production and shipping performance as well as supplier performance.

·  Handle stress and produce results in a highly demanding environment.

 

Desired Profile:

·  1-2 years experience as a master planner/scheduler

·  BS degree

·  Strong math skills

·  Proven ability to meet deadlines

·  High attention to detail and strong time management skills

·  Effective interpersonal relationship skills necessary for interfacing with diverse work teams

·  Experience working for companies with overseas production and/or suppliers

·  Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

·  Proficiency with ERP Systems- Preferably Oracle OPM

·  Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

·  Familiarity with optimization logic (linear programming, scheduling systems, decision support tools)

·  Cost Management
