Mgr Logistics/Production Planning

Privately held, long established food products company has an opportunity for an experienced logistics/production control manager. Responsibilities include planning all aspects of the company's production in its local plant as well as for all of its products that are co-packed for it abroad; arranging frozen transportation for these products both within the US and from Europe; and designing and implementing plans to maximize the efficiency of the company's logistics and minimizing freight costs.

Our customers include the largest retail supermarket and club stores in the country as well most large food service distributors as well. This position would be attractive for a seasoned production control, materials management, or logistics management person. Food industry experience is a strong plus. Our location is in Northern California East of the Bay area.
