Fiskars Brands has a Master Scheduler opportunity in our School, Office & Craft Division at our Madison, Wisconsin office.

Contribution Summary:

 

This individual will manage and execute the replenishment of purchased finished goods to overseas suppliers in support of inventory objectives and customer service expectations.  This position will:release and manage purchase orders to support the inventory planmonitor demand and expedite orders based on customer demands/forecastsreview priorities with suppliers to ensure sales commitments are metProvide delivery information to sales and customer serviceWork with suppliers to schedule and expedite material/service deliveries; interface with purchasing suppliers and sub contractors to expedite material shortages and resolve scheduling issuestrack and monitor in-transit inventoriesDocument performance to published deliverables to determine performance to on-time delivery, dollar sales and other defined measures


Position requires analytical thought process of converting the sales forecast into a production schedule while meeting company objectives of being a low cost provider with high customer service levels. This position requires intricate understanding of MRP as well as rough-cut capacity constraints planning.  Position must work closely with purchasing, distribution, quality control and customer service to balance material availability, customer orders, forecast requirements, and production capabilities.



Ideal candidate will possess:



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

3+ years scheduling experience. Computer literacy. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong problem solving. Ability to work under pressure and handle many tasks. Knowledge of ERP systems. Adapts well to rapidly changing priorities. Ability to communicate well with others. Ability to work in a fast paced team environment essential, with a high degree of flexibility and tolerance of change. Interface with other functional areas of the organization to ensure a free and unrestricted flow of information related to customer orders and product availability.
