Position Description:

 

The Logistics Technician is a customer service position responsible for communication between our clients, their suppliers and their carriers.  You will identify the most efficient means of moving freight from the supplier to the client or from the client to their customers, using our state-of-the-art software.  

 

Duties will include:

 

·  Accurately enter orders and capture related data.

·  Answer telephones. 

·  Support team members to ensure superior customer service.

·  Track and trace customer orders.

·  Communicate effectively with customers, partner vendors and team members.

·  Assist with new account start-ups.

·  Assist with the development and testing of new product offerings.

·  Conduct project work as required.

 

 

Requirements

 

The successful candidate for Log Technician will possess the following qualifications:

 

·  Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service or related field.

·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

·  Team player .

·  Superior attention to detail.

·  Ability to prioritize work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment.

·  Able to work flexible hours when required.

·  Excellent and accurate typing and PC skills required.
