Distribution Analyst

This position will handle all day to day activities for the West Coast Pull Facility to include receiving, store shipments (i.e. transfers), inventory control, cycle counts, and management reporting. This position will supervise the operations of a third party warehouse provider, and interact heavily with local store, regional and district level personnel.

Analyze and create delivery orders for stores located in the CA market (12-15 a day)
Data enter all store delivery orders (transfers)
Monitor and receive all inbound domestic freight into warehouse
Perform QC and carton cube audits on all new inbound freight
Obtain tracking information on all critical outstanding purchase orders
Execute necessary cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory
Address and resolve any discrepancies and/or issues raised from stores/corporate within a timely and accurate fashion
Perform monthly inventory reconciliation with third party warehouse provider and report results to key stakeholders
Perform monthly freight walk of warehoused products. Identify damaged product, prime location sku integrity, and dropped product that should be out of the warehouse.
Maintain freight claim / damage area. Cleanup may require disposal of BB&B product, and / or identify salvageable product for local store sale.

Requirements:

Effective interpersonal communication skills required (oral and written)
Solid PC skills required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
Freight receiving and shipping knowledge - preferred
Must be detail oriented
Bi Lingual communication a plus (Spanish)
