CHAMPION, SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE

Description:
This is the key leadership role in developing our supply base and taking it to the next level. Utilizing Six Sigma and other best practices, you will deploy black belts to address opportunities in quality, cost, and delivery performance of existing and new suppliers around the world.

You will also be responsible for eliminating project barriers leading to success and ensuring that the project recommendations are implemented and sustained.

As Champion, you will be a functional leader with awareness, knowledge and guidance of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools to support achievement of Lean Enterprise Business and RA business objectives.

This position is located in Milwaukee, WI with 30-50% Domestic and International travel required.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor Degree. Prefer degree in Business, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering or other functional area.
o Minimum 10 years experience in Supply Chain management. Prefer 5 years in industrial manufacturing.
o Experience with formal supplier quality assessments, material qualifications and supplier development.
o Strong statistical and supplier management background.
o Demonstrated leadership ability, change agent and driving project success individually and through their direct and indirect reports.
o Hands-on Project Management experience.
o Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Masters Degree or MBA.
o Master Black Belt, Black Belt or Lean certification.
o Proven cross functional / global leadership and influence skills.
o Global industrial supplier experience.
o APIC, CPIM, CIRM, CPM or CSCMP or ASQ Supply Chain Certification.
o Strong leadership and coaching skills.
o Strong business acumen.
