Title: Terminal Manager   Position Location: Southern California (Los Angeles)

This is the companies flagship operation and is responsible for driving productivity system wide, so it is a highly visible opportunity with in a growing company.

 

 

Job Description: Provide leadership and terminal operation’s management for the company’s flagship terminal. Operate an LTL door cross-dock operation. Have full responsibility for all drivers, P&D operations, dock and administration including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling for the company’s flagship terminal. While working directly with the TL and warehouse sides of the company to use full scope of companies services to serve the client.

 

Qualifications:

 

Required: 7-10 years terminal operations manager LTL.  Leadership a must; excellent communication and analytical skills; team player and independent decision maker. Must have an eye for quality and details and be able to work with all levels. Must be able to work outside the box and understand the interaction between the warehouse and truckload divisions. 

 

Preferred: Sales management, bilingual, experience in establishing & achieving forecasts for large operations.

 

Education Preferences: Business Administration
