Bladium is a 120,000-sf sports & fitness club like no other and includes complete fitness center, group exercise, two indoor soccer fields, in-line hockey rink, rock climbing wall, boxing ring, basketball and volleyball courts, complete kids center and a sports bar & grill. We have an immediate opening to manage our Youth Programs Department. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Youth Program/Child Development Director is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, promotion, staffing and supervision of all Youth Programs at Bladium Sports and Fitness Club.
Manage Day Care Center. Ensure children and infants are supervised in a safe and fun environment. Train and manage staff to interact with children to provide an educational, fun and positive environment. Develop arts & craft, musical and other educational programs for children 3 and under.Manage Bladiums Youth Programs. Develop, promote and staff a range of fun, educational and interactive programs for children ages 4 to 12. Incorporate sports, fitness, musical and educational themes in programs. Introduce new programs each month.Manage Bladium’s youth party, events and rockwall programs. Develop, promote and staff programs to increase participation and revenues in these areas.Develop effective interpersonal relationships with children, parents, and other adults.Hire, train, supervise, lead and mentor staff and develop skills necessary to be proficient in their duties.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Education, Human Services or related field or comparable experience. Advanced degree preferred.The qualified individual will be energetic, creative, and patient. Leadership qualities are essential.Demonstrated skill in leadership and staff supervision skills. Great personnel management, including recruitment, selection. coaching, communication, training and discipline.Ability to lead a team of coaches and staff that are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.Skill and ability in values education, budget development, and fundraising strongly preferred.. Excellent planning, prioritizing, budgeting, and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple programs and sites with the understanding of the different needs/dynamics at each. Ability to work productively, proactively and resolve conflict with staff, management, licensing, parents and partners. Must be self-starter, well organized, enthusiastic, with demonstrated ability to relate well to people of all ages. Good oral and written communication skills. Solid PC skills demonstrated by an ability to write, create letters/flyers/documents, and use spreadsheets effectively.

Full Time Position with benefits such as Medical, Dental, 401K and a free membership.Competitive Base Salary plus commission.
