Scirion Institute of Exercise Physiology maintains the largest personal trainer recruitment program in the United States. We sell personal trainer credential programs from many of the country's finest fitness facilities as well as some lesser known, smaller fitness clubs. Due to our enormous expansion, we currently have several positions within the city and several within the surrounding suburbs. If selected, you will have a choice as to which area(s) interest you the most.

Established in 1997, Scirion Institute was founded on the principle of competent testing practices. Realizing the need for a higher standard in personal training certification programs, Scirion Institute developed a certification program that required all personal trainers to take both a written and a practical exam under proctor supervision. Located in Southern California, Scirion Institute employs thousands of qualified proctors nation-wide for the purposes of administering and supervising exams, ensuring that every student is tested under the most competent circumstances. We offer aerobic, personal trainer and nutrition certifications. All of which require students to receive a passing grade on a Class A exam. Class A exams are considered to be the industry's most challenging exams due to their IQ format. We believe that tough programs and tougher exams produce better qualified fitness professionals. This has been our mission from the beginning and we will continue to implement products and services that are consistent with our belief that the industry should be held to a higher standard.



 

Job Description



As a personal fitness instructor, your job will be to teach the next generation of personal trainers. Our proctors work locally, at various fitness centers. You will also be in charge of proctoring our personal trainer exams. Personal fitness instructors have flexible schedules and may choose the hours they wish to work.



Benefits:

4-Year national personal trainer certification (no cost).

Personal Trainer clientele registry (no cost).

Not responsible for generating student base.

All instructors choose the hours they work, very flexible schedule.

Most instructors maintain other positions in conjunction with this one.

 

Compensation:

Supervision of exams (per student) $125

Exercise class Instruction (per student) $50

 



Primary Responsibilities:

· Set-up and manage proctor centers.

· Supervise students taking exams.

· Instruct exercise classes.

 



Job Qualifications

· Must have exceptional motivational skills and must truly love and understand health and fitness. Personal training or teaching experience a plus. Comprehension of exercise and fitness a must.
