Minor League Professional Baseball Franchise - Account Executive

is assisting Minor League Baseball Franchise in Southern California as they loom to fill their Sales Department with talented Account Executives. These key hires will report directly to the Vice President of Tickets.

 

Ticket Sales Responsibilities:
Selling new and renewal season ticket and group packages, focusing sales efforts on defined target areas.
Responsible for prospecting new customers and qualifying leads provided.
Fulfill and maintain an assigned, traceable minimum standard in personal sales efforts.
Provide superior customer service to new and existing accounts. Database management is necessary.
Staff ticket sales tables at outside events.
Develop relationships with current clients for referral leads.
Be creative in developing new ways to boost the attendance of the team.

 

Administrative Duties:
Responsible for all paperwork that is attributed to your clients.
Completion of weekly sales effort reports to be turned in to VP of Tickets.
Be a liaison to ticket holders.
Serve as the team mascot for various non-game day event appearances.
Other office duties as they arise

 

Game Day Duties:
Specific duties to be determined based on need

 

BACKGROUND:
Experience and a desire to excel in sales.
Individual must be energetic, enthusiastic and have strong planning and organizational skills.
Individual must demonstrate an initiative in completing all tasks at hand.
Individual must be able to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
Successful candidate will have experience operating with Microsoft Office.
Candidate must have strong communications skills, both verbal and written

 

COMPENSATION:
Based on experience.
Commission and bonus program based on direct sales efforts.
Health insurance is available after 30 Hours of continuous service
