Job Description: Fitness Equipment Sales

 

Location: Bedford Hills, NY 

  Stamford, CT

 

 

Total Fitness is the Northeast's premier fitness retailer with 15 store locations.  Currently there are sales positions open in our Bedford Hills, NY and Stamford, CT locations. We are seeking exceptional people who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our party. You will learn to sell the worlds best home exercise equipment and how to build customer loyalty. Do you enjoy meeting new people everyday? Are you a good listener? Total Fitness offers the best compensation package in our industry including health and dental insurance along with an employer matching 401K. Average year one earnings is $35,000 to $55,000 

 

Job Responsibilities:Sales of high end fitness equipment through solutions based selling Maintaining store standards (Slobs need not apply) Assist in assembly of equipment (you don't need to be a mechanic just willing to learn) Follow up with your customers to assure Total Customer Loyalty Perform Total Fitness store procedures as trained Get certified as a Personal Trainer Have lots of fun and make lots of money

 

Qualifications:Excellent communication skills (must enjoy talking to strangers) Energy and enthusiasm (We can't teach that) Some knowledge of exercise physiology Some sales or retail experience is a plus Basic computer skills Ability to learn at a rapid pace.
