Assistant Tennis Professional

The Lowes Island Club, one of the premiere country clubs in the Washington D.C. area, is currently seeking an Assistant Tennis Professional. Our tennis facility includes a pro shop, lounge and deck overlooking six har-tru courts.  We bubble four courts for indoor play from mid-October through mid-April.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player with a keen interest in working with juniors of all ages and levels. The individual chosen must be USPTA or USPTR certified (or gain certification within 1 year) and have at least one year of experience working with adults & juniors in a group & private lessons. You will work closely with the Head Pro to manage the junior program and teams. Other responsibilities will include assisting with adult team practices, front desk hours, racket stringing, mixers, tournaments and light court maintenance. A minimum 4.0 NTRP rating is required and competitive team or tournament experience is a plus.

 

This is a year round, full-time position. In addition to a base salary and commission, we offer a complete benefits' package including major medical, dental and life isurance, 401K/profit sharing plan, vacation and sick leave.
