Summary

Part time, 20 hours per week. Research Lab Assistant will assist genetic researchers with Drosophila (fruit fly) care management. Position involves counting, feeding, maintaining and organizing different fly stocks. Some basic data entry in Excel. Clean and maintain assigned work areas and instruments. Growth potential possible for right candidate.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of work experience. Some college preferred. Previous experience in scientific research environment preferred but not necessary.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Basic computer skills, familiar with Excel and Word software programs are preferred. Good manual dexterity, organizational skills, and attention to details are required.
