QC Chemist- Peptides

Immediate opportunity for a QC Chemist!

Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 8am-4:30pm
Contract-to-hire or Direct Placement
Pay Rate: DOE

Responsibilities include the following:

-Perform chemical tests, analysis, and investigations under Good Laboratory (GLP).
-Analyzes compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, utilizing HPLC.
-Experience with peptides preferred.
-Perform Out-of-specification investigations immediately upon discovery. Ensure proper procedures are followed to prevent the release of any materials from being released to production.
-Assist in writing and revising laboratory methods and procedures.
-Troubleshoot instruments and procedures as needed.

Experience:

-BS in Chemistry or equivalent experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Minimum 1 year HPLC
-Must have excellent writing skills
-Experience in wet chemistry techniques and proficient in the use of instruments such as HPLC, cGMP, and GLP
