Project Leader - Biology

Will manage government and/or commercial contracts that operate in a BL-2 and BL-3 environment. This position will direct projects to ensure successful project completion and implementation. Individual will plan, schedule, monitor, and evaluate documents associated with the project(s). This position will analyze the data and complete reports for the projects. The individual will perform as the role of a study director on GLP studies. This position will be responsible for generating revenue and additional projects within department. This position will provide resolution to complex problems within specified program and assist with training and mentoring junior staff as needed.
PhD or extensive experience in the fields of microbiology, bacteriology, or biological aerosols is required. Prior experience of working with Bacillus anthracis and/or other select agents desirable. Must have previous experience with BSL-2 agents and previous experience with select agents is a definite plus but not expected. Prior experience working in a GLP environment desirable.
