Entry Level Geologist

CH2M HILL has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Geologist, in our Montgomery, AL office.



This position, no experience required, requires a BS degree in geology or hydrogeology. 40-Hour HAZWOPR training is a plus.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of field tasks consisting of environmental investigations and remediation. Typical tasks would include conducting environmental sampling, drilling, contractor oversight, borehole logging, remedial construction oversight and assisting with report writing. Office work will include development of figures and maps depicting relevant hydrogeologic and analytical data, preliminary cost estimates, sampling plans, and safety plans. Travel requirement is 75 to 90% for this position. Must have strong skills in teamwork, communication and effective documentation of work.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



* BS degree in geology or hydrogeology from a U.S. accredited college or university.



* If not a U.S. citizen, applicant must have a non-academic visa which will permit him or her to work for any employer.
