About the Opportunity Deliver the products of CNH Capital (Retail Financing, Leasing, Credit Card, Insurance, Extended Warranty, etc.) to the dealers and customers of CNH. Responsibility includes driving and maintaining optimum penetration for all products provided by CNH Capital.
Responsibilities
· Achieve and maintain targeted penetration for
― Retail Originations
― Credit Card (both Revolving Accounts and Consumer Products)
― Insurance (including ESPP)
· Drive profitable growth by effectively managing expenses and margin targets
· Manage assigned sales territory, utilizing all necessary methods to ensure appropriate share is achieved for each segment of responsibility
· Develop and implement a sales strategy which provides optimum return by using time management to achieve best results
· Effectively influence and train dealer personnel to maximize sales results and product penetration
· Utilize daily planner or an approved mode to effectively track and manage territory
· Participate in trade shows, sales meetings and seminars as required
· Work jointly with industrial teams to drive SOM increases for CNH products and brands
· Area Sales Managers are responsible for
― Communicating with dealers, industrial colleagues and CNH management
― Actively participating in all meetings, conference calls and discussions
― Maintaining consistent communication and follow-up by
o Checking voice mail regularly
o Checking and responding to email regularly
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or equivalent required
· Demonstrated effective and strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with dealer principals and CFO level management
· Demonstrate the assertiveness, perseverance, energy and passion – results oriented behavior required to be successful in a sales role
· Demonstrate strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills and behaviors
· Demonstrates strong presentation skills
· Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
· Demonstrates effective planning and time management skills
· Experience/interface with dealerships, dealer distribution channels a plus
· Travel required whether inside based or field based. However, travel requirements for field based significantly higher.
· Entry level position enters at SG 6-7, dependent on skills and experience.
· SG 8 – Typically has 3+ years experience in Sales, Financial Services and/or related industry. Demonstrates the skills and behaviors required to handle moderate to large complex deals, and moderate to high volume. Consistent track record of performance equal to or greater than goal. Demonstrates solid technical acumen.
· SG 9 – Typically has 5+ years of experience in Sales, Financial Services and/or related industry. Demonstrates the skills and behaviors required to handle very large complex deals and high volume. Consistent track record of performance greater than goal. Demonstrates high technical acumen and leadership potential. Demonstrates advanced creativity and problem solving skills, in addition to negotiation and influencing skills and behaviors.
