Senior Account Manager

A rapidly expanding growth company in the Los Angeles area is seeking a charismatic and talented individual to share the role of Senior Account Manager.  This is a commission-based, executive job-share position: the successful candidate will fill approximately 50% of the role.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to promote Career Partners’ unique talent retention and work-life balance program and build a territory of major corporate accounts in the Los Angeles area.  The successful candidate will provide ongoing account support and customer service.  Additionally, the candidate will share the territory with their job share partner, work out of their home office, and travel as needed throughout their territory.  The Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an unyielding focus on the sustainable growth of the business.

 

Specific functional responsibilities include:

 

Accountability to achieve specific sales and profitability targets for the business

Develop and manage relationships with key contacts at target organizations

Maintain knowledge of the industry, competitors, and effective work-life balance programs

Achieve defined revenue and gross margin targets within specified budgetary parameters

Deliver company sales presentations and product demonstrations to senior level executives 

Define and pursue opportunities for market/customer growth

Develop pricing and marketing strategies for growing key accounts

Submit timely and consistent sales forecasts and status reports to management

Assist in market development activities

Represent the company at trade shows

Monitor and control expenses to conform to budgetary requirements

 

Qualifications and Experience Profile:

 

A minimum of 10 years of successful selling experience including at least 5 years dealing with senior executives at major corporate accounts

Proven ability to generate sales from new accounts

BA is required; MBA from a leading institution is a strong plus
