SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

InStar Services Group, a national disaster recovery and restoration company with offices located throughout the United States is currently seeking a Sales / Account Manager for our Phoenix area office located in Mesa, AZ. The following combination of work experience and demonstrated skills will enable the right candidate to succeed in our team environment.

 

We are seeking a rare breed of sales individual for our Phoenix area office. The individual we are in search of must possess a culmination of numerous sales personalities, traits, and characteristics as well as being a true entrepreneur. The individual we seek must have a passion for what they do. If you are in sales just to make a buck, this probably isn’t going to be the position for you. This is the true essence of an entrepreneurial opportunity. This is the chance to build a business and make a killing doing it.

We are looking for individuals with the following characteristics;Self MotivatedStrong willedPossess a deep seeded desire to succeed. Not just the immediate gratification of a decent paycheck, but the deep desire to make a difference in what you do. A True entrepreneurial spirit and attitude.Long term relationship building skills Knowledge of the construction, reconstruction, remediation, disaster and insurance industries.Experience and ability to communicate effectively with “C” level executives. Someone that realizes that working in sales is not always a 9-5 job. Sometimes it requires a few late nights or early mornings. A person who wants to really make an impact and make a difference in what they do. Someone that has been in the construction industry in a sales, estimating, insurance adjuster or production role in a previous life. Someone that has been in sales for at least 4 years.

 

 

To give you an idea of some of your responsibilities, here is a list of what you can and will be exposed to;

 

· Developing a local sales plan.

· Contacting potential customers in traditional and non traditional methods (this means thinking outside the box).

· Scoping the work to be conducted.

· Working with claims adjusters to settle losses.

· Securing the work from clients.

· Following up and maintaining the relationship for future business.

· Focus sales efforts on Arizona Multi-housing Association Members, general insurance adjusters that focus on multi-family and commercial losses and any large/catastrophic loss in the commercial industry.

· Attend trade shows at the local, regional and state level as well as an occasional national show here and there.

· Did I mention thinking outside the box?
