Chronos Consulting's client is a global process solutions company, improving the productivity and profitability of industrial facilities. They offer a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets such as: Energy, Pulp & Paper, and Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, and develops/markets industrial automation systems and advanced software applications.

 

The role:

 Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be leading and supporting the sales organization in generating new business by strategically positioning the portfolio of Advanced Applications and Services to both new and existing customers within the territory. Advanced Applications = Supply Chain Optimization solutions, APC, Process Optimization, Modeling, Energy Reduction solutions, Performance Scorecarding solutions

 

You will be responsible for:

 

· leadership to the Sales professionals to strategically position sales of Process Solutions' entire Advanced Applications Solution and Service portfolio customers and/or their engineering contractors.

· partnering with Regional Sales and Marketing teams to build Solution Sales and Customer Value Propositions and build senior-level relationships with key decision makers.

· guiding and educating the sales team in understanding and assessing customers' business objectives, strategies and, building value propositions that represent the portfolio.

· enabling the Region to achieve Advanced Applications sales results against an annual orders plan (includes developing and closing out on opportunities).
forecasting Advanced Applications sales opportunities from a scope, timing and revenue perspective.

· establish and build senior-level relationships with key decision makers.

· establish a professional detailed Business Plan for developing key strategies and identifying resources required for implementation and leverage company resources to effectively support the sale of all Advanced Application solutions and services.

 

The Person:

 

We require a unique blend of leadership and sales skills. Although this position will not have any direct reports, success will be achieved if the sales leader can engage/enable the broader sales organization to help sell these solutions. On certain pursuits, this position will be responsible for driving and closing out the opportunity, while on other pursuits this position will provide a strategic/supporting role.

 

You will possess:

 experience in “Solutions” selling a must and selling into the heavy process industries. at least 10 years experience within the process industry, and at least 5 years selling advanced solutions ideally MES solutions.an executive level presence  with high energy, influencing skills, ability to manage, coach and close deals.the ability to travel extensively as this role covers a territory of the western half of the USA ( around 19 states)
