Outside Sales Consultant - Supplies/Equipment for Restaurants, Clubs, Hotels, Cafeterias

We're looking for Outside Sales Consultants who are enthusiastic and detail oriented, who work at a faster than average pace and especially those who are interested in long-range career growth. As an Outside Sales Consultant with R.W. Smith & Co. you must have a will-do attitude, enjoy working collaboratively and consultatively with your customers and co-owners, have proven efficiency and follow-up skills, and be dedicated to providing service excellence to and for your external and internal customers. You will develop and maintain a territory business by generating sales revenue; identify untapped market potential including new ideas, services and products; initiate and close sales with new customers; and, expand sales with existing accounts.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires high-energy and stamina. Our customers include some of the regions most prestigious fine dining venues as well as casinos, resorts, country clubs, hospitals, universities and corporate cafeterias. You will be guided by industry leaders who will inspire you to achieve the extraordinary; their combined, award-winning experience will help you define and achieve professional success.
Three positions available to serve Phoenix and the surrounding valleys.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related experience is required. You must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and collision/comprehensive automobile insurance must be maintained during the course of your employment.

Our total compensation package includes employer-paid medical insurance with prescription drug coverage and long-term disability insurance. Voluntary dental and vision insurance; Section 125 pre-tax premiums and health care/dependent care spending accounts are also available. Two retirement vehicles including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
Outside Sales Consultants are eligible for individual bonuses based on large volume installations, meeting/exceeding growth goals, and new equipment sales; and, fully commissioned Outside Sales Consultants enjoy protected sales during unpaid time off, not to exceed annual limits for non-commissioned employees.
You will be provided with extensive job training and everything you need to establish your home office.
