Mid South Home Health, a Gentiva company, the areas #1 voted Home Health Agency in Montgomery, seeks a strong leader for the position of Area Sales Manager. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of health care sales/marketing and management experience.  Degree preferred or related equivalent experience required. Ability to travel within an assigned territory along with a proven track record, excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills required.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will:
•Develop/train sales team and manage their activities.
•Implement appropriate sales structure and prioritize key customers in accordance with market sales plan.
•Assess market and establish with management and territory staff sales strategy goals and tactics. Identify high dollar prospects within an assigned area.
•Prioritize accounts to comply with corporate sales plan and make contact with appropriate management levels within client organizations.
•Develop and execute area specific annual strategic plan/budget and prepares quarterly sales updates to ensure achievement of established sales goals and compliance with established budgetary constraints. Manage sales time and resources according to plan.
•Make sales calls on targeted managed care organizations, CareCentrix accounts and appropriate physicians/physician groups.
•Prepare/deliver sales presentations which effectively address clients' needs and follow up to provide additional information, answer questions, resolve outstanding issues, and close sales.
•Gather/organize information on targeted accounts for use in proposal/contract pricings. Forward pricing related information to appropriate management staff to ensure consistency/profitability and track actual sales against account targets.

Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, a health related science (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or the equivalent
•A minimum of five years healthcare or related service industry sales experience
•Three years in a supervisory role generally required
•Broad knowledge of the insurance, case management, self-insured and managed care marketplace and marketing/sales techniques
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, communication skills and computer literacy
•Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.Benefits
