ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in sales. This is a customer facing position where good communication skills and a high level of energy are important qualities. The Account Manager must be able to relate to customers and be able to gather customer concerns, explain how our program works, and be familiar with the terms and conditions of our agreements. An interest in the restaurant industry is a plus. The Account Manager will call on current and former merchant customers and provide an additional point of contact between customers and Rewards Network. Good organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. No experience required. We currently have openings in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Detroit, Tampa, Wisconsin, Kansas City and Phoenix.
Job responsibilities:
· Update merchants’ marketing information, including menus, photos, attributes and descriptions
· Verify the accuracy of merchants’ website content
· Conduct a welcome meeting with new merchants to review 1st usage statement.
· Meet with merchants that haven’t had contact with an AE in the prior 90 days
· Meet with house accounts
· Provide CTR reviews
· Visit recently deleted accounts to determine if there are future opportunities
· Provide company news and repositioning to customers
· Contact merchants from 120 day reports and prepare merchant for renewal
· Provide AE’s with feedback on all accounts contacted
· Renew existing customers when contract terms are not changing
· Provide merchants with examples of marketing in which they appear
