DESCRIPTION:
Leica Geosystems is looking for experienced C++ and/or C# programmers (both a plus) to help develop end user applications that process massive sets of geometry data. Successful applicants must have experience in building web applications and a solid understanding of 3D graphics algorithms and data structures. The applicant should also have experience designing and implementing high performance algorithms, particularly multithreaded and/or distributed algorithms.

REQUIREMENTS: 
 * BS Degree in computer science or equivalent

 * Expert level experience in one or more of:  C++, C#/.NET, Java

 * 5+ years overall programming experience

 * Experience with multithreaded applications

 * Experience in developing web applications, ideally using .NET

 * Experience in using 3D computer graphics algorithms and data structures

 * Strong sense of algorithmic efficiency

 * Strong object oriented programming skills

 * Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a team focus

 

 DESIRABLE:

* Advance degree in computer science and mathematics

* Knowledge of computational geometry

* Experience working with object or relational database systems

* Experience working with object or relational database systems

* Experience in managing large geometric datasets

* Experience working with graphics APIs (OpenGL or Direct3D)

* Experience developing large, complex commercial products
