Kelly Scientific has an opeing for Lab Tech in Claremont, CA with a company within the food industry.

This company is the founder of the non-dairy segment of the frozen food industry and a leading supplier and solutions provider to the food service, in-store bakery and retail marketplaces

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Effectively using chemical techniques for accurately measuring fat solid analysis, coliform testing, and whipping analysis.

Maintain place of work in a clean and tidy condition.

Maintain a personal standard of cleanliness and tidiness.


Adhere to rules for safety of oneself and others in the laboratory.

Be willing to adapt to emergency situations where extra testing or different/new methods are needed.

Washing of own equipment and ware to standards suitable for testing.

Correct entry of results into computer.

Advise laboratory management of lab supply requirements.

Assist management in any problem solving and method development.

AA (or higher) in a science field required.
