Food Scientist

My client is seeking a skilled professional Food Scientist with career experience in a product development role to work closely with customers to develop specific products to meet their requirements. The Food Scientist is an integral and important function in the growing R&D lab.

The qualified candidate will have experience that includes:
A full complement of lab procedures and hands-on involvement in new product introductions.
Assist in the development of formulations.
Work with suppliers to obtain ingredients that will meet requirements.
Work with the sales force and customers.

Requirements:
Food Science (or related) degree. 4-year degree highly preferred
4+ years of experience working in a product development environment.
Sensory background is required
Confectionery background is desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
