Data Retrieval Specialist

Retrieve and collate subject information from multiple databases and present it in data-field format and narrative text.  It is essential that the quality of the Data Retrieval Specialist’s work have minimal errors.  He/she shall strictly adhere to FinCEN security regulations and procedures.  Work is performed is with a minimum of supervisory guidance.

 

Requirements:

Active Top Secret clearance (or Interim TS with a Single Scope Background Investigation in progress) from DSS/DISCO is required. 

At least 1 year of college-level education from accredited institution; college courses in the field of criminal justice preferred.  Demonstrated ability to use basic evaluation judgment and apply logic and reasoning to solve problems and answer questions.  Some research experience, awareness of current events, and excellent writing skills are essential.  Candidates will be tested for spelling, grammar, etc., and need to be able to communicate clearly orally, as well.  MUST BE PROFICIENT in navigating MS Windows and databases, as well as Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Education:

Minimum of 1 year of college required.  Candidates must be cleared at the DoD Interim Top Secret or full Top Secret level.
