Coordinator, Clinical Reseach I-Oncology

The Clinical Research Coordinator I:  Identifies, recruits and evaluates eligible patients for reserach projects on informed consent and maternal problem solving skills training.  Collects and manages data and communicates with pediatric oncology health care providers and investigators, and national research collaborative groups, to coordinate timely entry of eligible subjects and submission of evaluable data.


Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Socialolgy or Social Work, with appropriate work history, including clinical or research observations and interviewing.  Experienced in working with research teams and/or division staff of all levels.  Ability to learn the necessary research metholology and apply observational skills, and creatively solve problems encountered during research process.  Bilingual (Spanish-English), preferred.
