Investor Certification Technician II

This position is responsible for the procurement and correction of post trailing collateral documents and/or data elements required per state, county and investor guidelines. Sources will include Closing Agents, Title Companies, Escrow Companies, Attorneys, Abstractors, Lenders, Borrowers and County Recorders for all divisions. This will include verbal and written communication, document prepping, printing, file review and auditing. Technology used: AS400, Internet/Intranet and Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, and Access.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (some college preferred) and 1-2 years general office experience, preferably in Mortgage Banking, Insurance, Escrow/Real Estate or Banking. Working knowledge of post closing documents is preferred. Must haven a basic knowledge of Word, Excel and the Internet. The successful candidate will have 10-key by sight skills and the ability to type 30 wpm. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and able to work within a team environment.


This position will be reviewing online documents, updating information in the data base and following up with third party groups to retrieve updated documents.
An ideal candidate may also possess:
- Data entry experience, intermediate computer skills.
