Upon joining Countrywide's Full Spectrum Lending Division, qualified candidates will receive an extensive company orientation and participate in formal classroom training. The training is geared towards helping new Account Executives become familiar with FSL's proven business strategies, policies & procedures, as well as a thorough working knowledge of the lending process. The training includes, but is not limited to, lead distribution methodologies, sales lending strategies, compliance issues, underwriting and loan processing systems.

Over the past twelve months, several hundred entry-level Account Executives have been promoted to management. FSL is committed to hiring qualified individuals interested in pursuing a career, as opposed to "landing a job."

Specific job duties of an Account Executive include handling loan inquiries from a variety of sources including both inbound telephone inquiries and outbound calling. The Account Executive focuses on refinance lending to meet the vast array of homeowners needs and works closely with a team of loan specialists and underwriters to ensure that customer service remains a top priority. The culture is fast paced with a strong interest in hiring both entry level college graduates and experienced loan professionals.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related non-technical discipline preferred
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Flexible approach to a fast-changing work environment.
- Sales or mortgage industry experience a plus, but not required
- Self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem solving skills
- PC proficiency

Our paid training program prepares college graduates for a career as Loan Officers (Account Executives). Associate Account Executives will be trained in both prime and subprime lending. Account Executives are able to offer Countrywide's full array of loan products to meet a customer's needs.
