POSITION: Account Executive (AE)

SUPERVISOR: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

STATUS: Exempt

 

OVERVIEW:

This candidate is a high energy, self starter with an outstanding attitude. Is a team player and likes the fast paced environment. Candidate must possess excellent sales, customer service, communication and organizational skills. Candidate must also be proficient with excel, word and Microsoft outlook.



QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate for the AE position must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and always conducts themselves in a professional manner. To perform this job successfully this individual must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily with a sense of urgency. 1-3 years sales experience in mortgage lending industry.Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.Must have a professional and positive attitude that is conducive to a team environment.Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environmentMust have computer experience consistent with the ability to perform to expectations.



JOB SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, the AE will call on Mortgage Brokers on a daily basis to procure loans that fit Mandalay’s guidelines.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Calls daily on Mortgage BrokersUnderstands Mandalay’s guidelines.Screens Brokers and Loans for FraudStructures deals for Brokers.Attains production goals set forth by their manager. Trains brokers on Mandalay products and submission process. Monitors individual pipeline for freshness and accuracy.


Job Metrics:

Must fund 7 first loans or fund 1.5 million in volume per month.



Must maintain a 40% pull through rate.
