Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Provide front-line mentoring, direction, and leadership to team of five

Operations
- Evaluate the team's day-to-day procure-to-pay system transaction processing activity.
- Establish systems, policies, and procedures to eliminate the transactions

Strategic Sourcing
- Analyze complex data to identify sourcing opportunities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities
- Remain abreast of internal and external factors affecting commodity areas
- Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices
- Negotiate and implement deals that maximize cost savings and service levels for NBCU
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal clients and external suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment.

- Strong proficiency in all aspects of the sourcing process including: market analysis; RFx development and analysis; strategy development; contract development, negotiations, and management.

- Experience with sourcing facilities related goods and services, construction, general goods and services, and other indirect categories.

- Skills and flexibility to assume a variety of categories as may be required.

- Highly analytical - able to analyze complex data.

- Superior project management skills and follow-through.

- Effective integrator, collaborator and promoter. Ability to influence toward optimal sourcing outcomes.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Highly proficient in MS office applications.

- Bachelor's degree required.

Desired:
- MBA preferred

- Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle a definite plus.

General:
The Manager - Broadcast handles complex sourcing projects. In addition, the Manager provides hands-on mentoring, direction and leadership -- effectively guiding team members towards meeting business objectives. The Manager will also play a pivotal role in analyzing, organizing, and migrating activities of the day-to-day transaction processing team toward executing buys utilizing more strategic approaches.
